Homework Motivator

I saw this in a 3rd grade classroom this week, and remember learning about it when we took some trainings in CHAMPS. This 3rd grade teacher has students write their name in a block every time they complete their homework. When all the blocks are filled, the teacher draws some coordinates. The student whose name is in that block gets a pick out of the treasure box. The students get very excited about getting their name in multiple squares.
