We celebrated Grandparent's Day last week at my school. What a wonderful sight it was seeing all the grandparents who came out to eat lunch with their grandchildren. It warmed my heart.
The Writing Leadership Team put together a wonderful display for Grandparent's Day. Near the front of the school, the team hung 2 rows of ribbon, and attached a clothespin for each teacher. Teachers posted either a student sample or a class writing activity about grandparents. Check out some of the photos from the writing board:
