Reckless Magic by Rachel Higginson

After finishing this 776 page book, I'm debating whether or not to get the second in the series.  Reckless Magic was a good story, with the heroine being a 16 year old female who didn't know she could perform magic.  The author's blog summarizes the book beautifully:  http://www.rachelhigginson.com/p/star-crossed-series.html.  The love story is cute, but drags on a little too much (and there appear to be 2 more books).  I was disappointed in character's actions in some scenes, and I hope Eden matures real soon.

I would say that Reckless Magic was a good book to read during our snow/ice closing of schools, but I'm not real sure I will be purchasing book 2.  You read the series, and tell me if I should continue on.
