To kick off the event, Raquel came out to our school and ran us through a 1 mile walk/run and a short fitness routine. The students were so excited! It was fun for students to see if they could hold a plank longer than the teachers. A first grade student beat all of the adults and all of the other students! (Although, one fifth grader released his plank when he was promised a free homework pass by a teacher. He may have won!)

Pivotal Fitness Visits Brook Glenn!
Brook Glenn has partnered with Pivotal Fitness in Taylors this month to help our staff and families Battle the Bulge! For one month, anyone who wishes to participate will get a FREE membership to Pivotal with the hopes that they will use all of the facility. Raquel is running our challenge, and has already weighed in a handful of people, including some staff members and some families.
