North Greenville University helps to make the social studies standards come ALIVE!

In April, Brook Glenn partnered with North Greenville University in order to bring 3rd grade students an interactive experience of the South Carolina Social Studies standards. Under the direction of Dr. McClosky, the North Greenville pre-service students prepared skits that focused on key points 3rd grade students needed to review before taking the PASS test. Through this hands-on review, the North Greenville students were able to deeply understand and thoughtfully plan and implement lessons focused on standards, while our students benefited greatly from the information. Our third graders were enthralled over how the presenters dressed, and how well they stayed in character for each performance.
