I recently acquired this book at CVS, while I was patiently awaiting for my prescription to be filled. I love that CVS offers paperbacks in various genres, and by an array of authors. It is often that I pick up a great read at CVS! This find is no different. Since we have had a few snow days, I have had the opportunity to read a little more than usual this time of the year, and I am loving my new book.
Mirror, Mirror is really made up of classic fairy tales such as Hansel and Gretel and Cinderella. The authors have put a twist to each one, that keeps the reader gasping in disbelief and pleased with the subtle references to the classic story. Grimm fairy tales are pretty sick on their own, but these authors have added in otherworldly elements.
I've just begun the book, and I'm sure I will finish it soon! Definitely an attention grabber!
