Tips for the Promethean

The Magic Hat is an easy tool to use, and a great way to hide items behind a picture on your flipchart.  This feature is a nice way to review vocabulary.

Here’s what to do:

• Move an image or shape onto a clean flipchart page


• Right click on the image, click reorder, click bring to front


• Lock the picture by right clicking, and click locked (Note:  do not have anything on top or behind the pic)


• Create your vocabulary by using the text feature to write the words somewhere on the blank part of the page


• Pull the words behind the locked picture


• When you mouse over the picture, a plus sign will appear where a word is
